Why it exists
Farm trees are a crop. We wanted to buy them like one.
Most of the hardwood Pooja Wood House handles was planted by a farmer on a field boundary, a canal bank or a corner of unproductive land — mango, neem, babool, eucalyptus, acacia, sheesham. It is agriculture, and it deserves the reliability of agriculture: a known buyer, a fair rate and a reason to plant again.
The Pooja Farmers Group (PFG) formalises that. It is an FSC® Forest Management group certificate for Small and Low Intensity Managed Forests, and it is aimed at promoting the sustainability of growers associated with farm plantation and its management.
The group is registered as PoojaPlus Farmer Producer Company Limited, based at Village Bai ka Bas, Kaladera, Tehsil Chomu, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Growers who join are members of the producer company, not merely suppliers to it.

Certification under the PFG SLIMF group certificate, without the individual cost and audit burden of certifying a smallholding on your own.
A buyer who is already there
Pooja Wood House buys standing and felled farm timber across our operating districts. You are not looking for a market at harvest time.

Support on species selection, spacing, plot records and the documentation the group certificate requires.

Certified material reaches export buyers who will not consider uncertified timber, which widens the market for what you grow.

Plot details are entered into the group register under the PFG certificate.

When the crop is ready, we quote against it and handle felling and haulage arrangements.

Is PoojaPlus FPC the same as the Pooja Farmers Group?
Yes. PoojaPlus Farmer Producer Company Limited is the registered producer company; “Pooja Farmers Group (PFG)” is the name it carries on the FSC® forest management certificate. Same body, two names — you will see both on signage and paperwork.
Does joining cost anything?
The point of a group certificate is that the certification cost is carried by the group rather than by each smallholder. Contact the farmer desk for the current terms in your district.
Am I obliged to sell only to Pooja Wood House?
Group membership is about shared FSC certification and a working relationship. Speak to our team about what is expected in your district before you enrol.
Which species are accepted?
Commonly mango, neem, babool, khair, sheesham, eucalyptus, acacia, sirish, arjun and lambu — the farm-grown hardwoods we mill. Others may be accepted depending on the district.
How small can a plot be?
The certificate is specifically designed for Small and Low Intensity Managed Forests, so small plots and boundary plantings are exactly what it is for.
What records will I need to keep?
Plot location and boundary, species and approximate numbers, planting and harvest dates. Our field team helps set this up at enrolment.
